Dino Merlin's Three-Day Koševo Concerts Attract Massive Crowds in Sarajevo

Bosnian singer‑songwriter Dino Merlin began a three‑night series of concerts at the Asim Ferhatović Hase (Koševo) stadium in Sarajevo on 31 July, 1 August and 2 August 2026. The events were sold out within minutes for the first two nights, with a limited number of tickets still available for the third, and organisers expect more than 200 000 attendees across the three shows.

Security measures include AI‑driven scanners and a two‑stage entry check, with the security perimeter opening at 16:30 and stadium gates admitting fans from 18:00. Several surrounding streets were closed and private vehicle access to the stadium prohibited, leading to heavy traffic jams on major routes M‑17, A1 and M‑18. Tourist accommodation in Sarajevo was reported to be almost fully booked.

The production features advanced stage technology, a protective grass layer for the field, and involvement of international specialists. Concerts started around 20:30–21:15, with fireworks and a large‑scale light show drawing thousands of fans from Bosnia, the surrounding region and the diaspora.
