Dino ranks as cheapest retailer in Polish grocery study

A recent price comparison study conducted by ASM SFA experts reveals significant price variations among major retail chains in Poland. The study analyzed a basket of 40 items, including food, cleaning supplies, and hygiene products, to determine the most cost-effective shopping options for consumers.

Dino emerged as the leader in the ranking, outperforming several popular discount chains. In contrast, major retailers Biedronka and Lidl did not reach the podium, ranking seventh and ninth respectively. The cost of the 40-item basket at Biedronka was 331.99 PLN, while Lidl's cost was 335.03 PLN. Compared to the cheapest retailer, shoppers at Biedronka paid 45.20 PLN more, and those at Lidl paid 48.24 PLN more for the same goods.

ALDI was identified as the most expensive retailer in the comparison. The study highlights that the price difference between the cheapest and most expensive locations exceeded 60 PLN for the identical basket of products.
