Dinos Mavropanos jersey sells for nearly £100,000 at auction

A match-worn jersey belonging to West Ham United defender Dinos Mavropanos sold for nearly £100,000 in a recent auction. The shirt was worn during the 100th Dockers Derby against Millwall, a match in which Mavropanos scored a header to secure a 2-2 draw.

Bidding for the item escalated rapidly, jumping from a previous high of £4,200 to a final winning bid of £99,999.99 by a user identified as ‘Bidder136125’. The high valuation reflects the intense popularity of the Greek international among West Ham supporters following his performance in the historic London derby.
