Dinosaur Jr. and Nonpalidece mark musical milestones

The American indie rock trio Dinosaur Jr., consisting of J Mascis, Lou Barlow, and Murph, has released a new album titled ‘There Near’. Recorded at the Bisquiteen studio in Amherst, the album showcases the band’s ability to maintain their signature sound while exploring different musical registers, such as the catchy hooks in ‘Take Me With You’ and the more nervous pulse of ‘No Ones Ready’. The group’s second act has now lasted longer than their original five-year run.

Meanwhile, the Argentine reggae band Nonpalidece is celebrating 30 years of musical history. The group, which formed in 1996, recently fulfilled a long-held dream by performing in Jamaica to honor the 80th anniversary of Bob Marley. Reflecting on their journey from discovering reggae via VHS tapes to becoming a fundamental part of the Argentine reggae scene, the band is preparing anniversary celebrations featuring a setlist of 30 songs chosen by their audience.
