Dinto Solar launches 1/3‑cut HJT module and secures BIS registration in India

Dinto Solar announced a new heterojunction (HJT) photovoltaic module that uses a 1/3‑cut cell layout, targeting European markets. The multi‑cut design is intended to lower resistive losses, improve power output up to 765 W and achieve bifaciality as high as 98 %. The company plans to unveil the product in three formats at Intersolar Europe 2026 for applications such as building‑integrated PV, fencing and agri‑PV.

Separately, the firm completed the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS) for its full range of HJT modules, confirming compliance with Indian quality and performance requirements. Dinto Solar has partnered with Indian solar provider Greencell Energy to deploy its G12‑132 HJT modules, each over 730 Wp, in a 100 MW capacity aimed at distributed energy projects, including EV‑charging infrastructure. The moves reflect Dinto’s strategy to expand high‑efficiency solar solutions in both Europe and the rapidly growing Indian market.
