Diocesan pastoral events scheduled in Breganzona and Ostuni

The Diocese of Lugano will host a formative Saturday on October 24 in Breganzona, focused on the theme “The family as a place of vocation.” Held at the Liceo diocesano at Collegio Pio XII, the event features guests from Turin, including Father Gianluca Attanasio and the couple Chiara and Tommaso Luchetti. The session aims to explore marriage as a response to a divine calling rather than a mere personal project, discussing discernment during engagement and married life.

In Ostuni, the Caritas Diocesana is organizing the Diocesan Day of Parish Caritas on October 24 at the “Madonna della Nova” Spirituality Center. Under the theme “We are the threshold: from listening to relationship,” the event includes a lecture by Archbishop Giovanni Intini and a presentation by Dr. Luigi Russo. The program focuses on empathy, care, and moving from a model of mere assistance toward one of accompaniment and community animation through workshops and local collaboration.
