Diocese of Angra launches new website and hosts marriage movement event

The Diocese of Angra has launched a new institutional website to centralize information regarding Church activities across the nine islands of the Azores. The platform provides access to parish mass schedules, diocesan news, and a digital archive containing pastoral letters, decrees, and homilies. It also features audio content, including podcasts such as ‘Gente com Fé’ and ‘A Palavra Hoje’.

Additionally, the Marriage Encounter Movement of the Azores held a recent gathering at the Pio XII Pastoral Center in Ponta Delgada. Led by priest Carlos Simas, the event focused on the theme ‘How to reach the other shore,’ using biblical reflections to encourage couples to navigate marital challenges through dialogue, forgiveness, and trust. The movement aims to strengthen conjugal relationships and community service.
