Diocese of Quilmes celebrates 50th anniversary

Diocese of Quilmes 50th anniversary Catholic Church Quilmes Cathedral religious celebration

The Diocese of Quilmes celebrated its 50th anniversary with a community gathering at the Quilmes Cathedral. The central event featured a mass led by Bishop Carlos José Tissera.

During the ceremony, Santiago Castagno, the municipal Secretary of Economy, presented a commemorative plaque to Tissera on behalf of Mayor Carlos Balor. The celebration included pilgrims from five regional deanates and concluded with a public festival. Local authorities, including interim Quilmes Mayor Eva Mieri, were also in attendance.
