Diocese of Quilmes celebrates 50th anniversary

The Diocese of Quilmes, Berazategui, and Florencio Varela celebrated its 50th anniversary with a community gathering at the Quilmes Cathedral. The central event was a mass led by Bishop Carlos José Tissera.

During the ceremony, Santiago Castagno, the Secretary of Economy for the Municipality of Berazategui, presented a commemorative plaque to Tissera on behalf of Mayor Carlos Balor. The celebration included pilgrims from five regional deanates and concluded with a public festival. Local officials, including interim Quilmes Mayor Eva Mieri and representatives from Florencio Varela, were also in attendance.
