Diocese of Trento launches training program for catechists

The Diocese of Trento has launched a training program for catechists, animators, and religious teachers through the Area Annuncio e Sacramenti. The initiative began with a session at the Vigilianum in Trento led by Father Matteo Giuliani.

During the session, titled ‘First steps with young people in faith education,’ Father Giuliani emphasized that the catechist is the most important resource in religious instruction. He highlighted the necessity of building personal relationships with youth, creating welcoming environments, and integrating the Word of God with lived experience and prayer.
