Diogo Costa reaches 50 caps for Portugal national team

Portugal goalkeeper Diogo Costa has reached a milestone of 50 caps for the national team. He follows in the footsteps of prominent Portuguese keepers such as Rui Patrício, who holds 108 caps, Vítor Baía with 80, and Ricardo with 79.

Following a 2-1 victory against Norway in the UEFA Nations League, Costa commented on the team's progress and defensive cohesion under new manager Jorge Jesus. He noted that the squad is adapting to a different tactical approach, emphasizing that the team is becoming more complete and unpredictable through improved positioning and collective effort.
