Diogo Moscato secures podium in Copa Truck Race 1 at Curvelo

Diogo Moscato secured a second-place finish in Race 1 of the 2026 Copa Truck at the Circuito dos Cristais in Curvelo, Minas Gerais. Driving the Iveco #54 for Scuderia Chiarelli, Moscato started the race in fourth position and advanced through the field to reach the podium.

The weekend showed significant technical progress for the team. After competitive qualifying sessions where he secured second place, Moscato managed to maintain his pace during the first race. In the second race, which featured a reversed grid, Moscato started seventh and climbed to fifth place. However, he was forced to decelerate to avoid an accident during the penultimate lap, ultimately finishing in eighth place.

Moscato expressed satisfaction with the truck's evolution and his performance at the circuit, noting that Curvelo is one of his favorite tracks in Brazil.
