Dior launches Sauvage Extrait fragrance with Sydney immersive experience
Christian Dior has introduced a new high‑concentration fragrance, Sauvage Extrait, created by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. The scent adds Vietnamese‑sourced oud wood to the classic Sauvage line, alongside notes of bergamot, French lavender, Atlas cedar, Indonesian patchouli and Madagascan vetiver.
To mark the launch, Dior Beauty staged an immersive three‑day event called “Sauvage House” in Sydney’s El Primo Sanchez venue (410 Crown Street, Surry Hills) from 14 to 16 August. Visitors could receive personalised fragrance consultations, enjoy Sauvage‑inspired cocktails and canapés, and book exclusive grooming rituals led by men’s grooming specialist Fernando Miranda. Walk‑in appointments were also available.
The launch highlights Dior’s strategy of combining product innovation with experiential retail, targeting fragrance enthusiasts in the Australian market while promoting the new Extrait globally.
