Dior opens first Latin American spa at Copacabana Palace

Dior is launching its first wellness space in Latin America at the Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro. The Dior Spa Copacabana Palace will open on November 3 as part of the hotel's new five-story Wellness Club, located within the revitalized Edifício Piscina following a 19-month renovation led by architect Ivan Rezende.

The 300-square-meter facility includes six treatment rooms, a boutique, and a lounge, offering a menu of ten different experiences. To cater to the Brazilian market, the brand collaborated with dermatologist Maria Bussade to develop protocols that account for local skin needs, tropical climates, and frequent sun exposure.

Two signature treatments were created specifically for this location: the Couture Radiance Facial and the Carioca High Sculpt, which incorporates techniques such as maderotherapy, cupping, and LED light to address local skin characteristics.
