Dior to present Cruise 2028 collection in Shanghai

Dior has announced that its Cruise 2028 collection will be presented in Shanghai on May 14. This marks the second off-season collection under creative director Jonathan Anderson, who took the helm last year.

The choice of Shanghai serves as a tribute to the brand's founder, Christian Dior, who referenced the city in his spring 1948 haute couture show by naming a key look ‘Shanghai’. The move follows a tradition of destination shows used by the luxury house to find inspiration and engage key markets.

This event will be Anderson’s first major appearance in Asia since his appointment. It follows his upcoming spring 2026 women’s ready-to-wear presentation in Paris on September 29 and a pre-fall show in Dublin on December 4.
