Dior presents Spring/Summer 2027 collection in Paris

Dior creative director Jonathan Anderson presented the Spring/Summer 2027 collection at the Tuileries Garden during Paris Fashion Week. The collection emphasizes lightness, asymmetry, and natural imperfection, moving away from the rigid structures of the brand's heritage toward a more fluid, romantic aesthetic.

Key design elements include sheer fabrics like chiffon and organza, metallic trousers, and botanical-inspired details such as 3D floral appliqués. Anderson utilized techniques like micro-pleating and layering to create weightless silhouettes. The theme of natural imperfection was introduced via the show's invitations: Wenwan walnuts, a Chinese collectible used for hand-rolling, which guests were encouraged to handle to appreciate their evolving textures.

The star-studded event featured front-row guests including Rihanna, Jennifer Lawrence, Jisoo of Blackpink, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Rosalía. The presentation marked a significant step in Anderson's first year leading both the womenswear and menswear lines for the LVMH-owned house.
