Diputación de Cáceres wins Best Livestock award

The Diputación de Cáceres has received the Best Livestock award once again from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food at the Zafra International Livestock Fair. The recognition was awarded to the province's Merino Precoz sheep herd.

Angélica García, the Deputy for Agriculture and Livestock, accepted the award alongside the team responsible for the livestock herd. In addition to the top prize, the institution secured several category awards, including first prizes for Best Male, Best Borro, Best Lamb, and Best Ewe. These honors highlight the ongoing efforts to conserve and improve the Merino Precoz breed and support the livestock sector in the rural territory.
