Spanish regional authorities announce various municipal and social subsidies

Various Spanish regional and national authorities have announced several subsidy programs and funding initiatives for 2026.

In Granada, the Diputación has allocated 22,000 euros to the Fundación de la Guardia Civil to promote cybersecurity culture and training. Additionally, the 'Granada Compite' program provides 100,000 euros to support non-professional athletes and sports clubs.

The Community of Madrid has opened a 750,000 euro call for aid to strengthen municipal Civil Protection, funding both vehicle acquisitions and the development of territorial plans. In the Campo de Gibraltar region, the Council of Ministers approved 7.3 million euros in subsidies for eight municipalities to fund infrastructure for waste management, water cycles, and digitalization.

Other regional allocations include 3 million euros from the Diputación of Ciudad Real for religious heritage, popular universities, and motorhome areas; over 105,000 euros for cultural projects in Cádiz; and 100,000 euros in Almería to support women's associations in areas such as gender violence prevention and digital skills.
