Diputación de León announces job vacancies and rural women awards

The Diputación de León has announced several administrative measures and initiatives for the province. The institution is conducting internal processes to fill various job vacancies through merit-based competitions. These positions include Community Animators, administrative and auxiliary staff, and social workers. The most recent call for Community Animators offers 12 vacancies across several locations, including La Magdalena, Mansilla de las Mulas, León-Villaquilambre, and Villablino.

Additionally, the Diputación has launched a new edition of the 'Mujer Rural' (Rural Woman) awards. This initiative aims to recognize the work and entrepreneurship of women in rural León who contribute to economic opportunities and combat depopulation. The awards feature two categories: 'Tradition and Rural Development,' focusing on the primary sector and traditional trades, and 'Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Rural Environment,' which highlights creative projects that foster female employment. The awards ceremony is scheduled for October 15 in Villablino.
