Director discusses character Juli's appearances in ‘Por Você?’

The director of the telenovela ‘Por Você?’ has addressed the portrayal of the character Juli, played by Lucy Ramos. Following the character's death, her appearances in the story are designed to reflect various aspects of grief, including humor and affection, rather than solely focusing on sadness.

Director André explained that the character was a vibrant person—a mother, friend, and nurse—and that her appearances serve to show that absence does not erase emotional bonds. The creative choice aims to represent grief as ‘love insisting on existing even in the face of absence.’
