In a recent podcast interview, Parsons said he is considering directing a film adaptation of a beloved early‑2000s video‑game franchise, widely believed to be Valve’s Portal. He declined to name the title explicitly but hinted that discussions are already underway. The speculation was reinforced by New York Times journalist Kyle Buchanan, who noted that Parsons has been cautiously evaluating a Portal project that was first announced in 2013 but never materialised.
