The surge was driven primarily by the release of Pixar’s *Toy Story 5*, which opened with $311 million (≈¥50 billion) and has since risen to more than $367 million worldwide. Other strong performers included *Prada in the Heights 2* and the Lucasfilm title *Star Wars: The Mandalorian and the Grogu*.
The company noted that 2025’s annual box‑office total was $65.8 billion, and that upcoming releases such as a live‑action *Moana* and an *Avengers* sequel are expected to continue the upward trend.
