Directorate General of Taxes reorganizes 1,261 positions

The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) has announced a major reorganization involving 1,261 positions. According to Announcement Number PENG-556/PJ/PJ.01/2026, the DJP is implementing mutations and reappointments for 1,227 employees, including tax examiners, tax assessors, tax assistants, tax educators, and assistant tax educators. Additionally, 34 employees will be inaugurated as State Budget Financial Administrators.

The inauguration of functional officials is scheduled for September 3, 2026. A transition period will take place on September 3–4, with employees expected to begin physical duties at their new work units on September 7, 2026.

As part of this reorganization, the DJP is piloting the digitalization of official travel accountability. This process will utilize electronic signatures integrated with the SIKeu application via the Nadine-TTE Eksternal Satu Kemenkeu system.
