Diriyah Biennale Foundation launches cultural agenda at JAX District
The Diriyah Biennale Foundation has announced a comprehensive monthly cultural agenda at the JAX District, starting in September. The program will feature between six and eight events each month, including workshops, panel discussions, film screenings, and performance programs designed to foster learning and dialogue within the cultural sector.
Key upcoming events include the Creativity Summit scheduled for October 3–5, the PaperBack art book fair, and the XP conference regarding the future of music. Notable participants include Nora Al Mashouq, director of the Saudi Museum of Contemporary Art (SAMOCA), and Graham Southern, former director at Christie’s, who will participate in a discussion series titled ‘How We Met’.
Additional activities include the return of the ‘Cultural Stories’ series and various workshops, such as welding and frame making with artist Yasmina Hilal. In October, the foundation also plans to launch the book ‘Turuq: Flavors and Paths’, which documents research into culinary arts conducted during the 2025 Islamic Arts Biennale in Jeddah.
