Dirk Geiger skips Bol d’Or to focus on Supersport title

The Bol d’Or 24-hour race at Circuit Paul Ricard in France serves as the finale for the 2026 EWC season. Ten EURO MOTO riders are participating, including Markus Reiterberger, who is competing for the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team. Reiterberger currently trails the YART Yamaha Official EWC Team by 19 points in the championship standings.

In contrast, Dirk Geiger is intentionally skipping the Bol d’Or to focus on securing the EURO MOTO Supersport title at the upcoming finale in Hockenheim. Geiger currently holds a 27-point lead over his closest competitor, Daniel Blin. The decision to avoid the 24-hour race is intended to ensure full recovery and prevent injury ahead of the championship decider.
