Dirk van Duijvenbode joins World Series of Darts Finals in Amsterdam

Dutch darts player Dirk van Duijvenbode has been added to the lineup for the 2026 World Series of Darts Finals in Amsterdam. He will take the place of Man Lok Leung, a 27-year-old player from Hong Kong, who was forced to withdraw from the tournament due to illness.

As the first reserve from the Tour Card Holder Qualifier, Van Duijvenbode qualifies under PDC regulation 3.7. He is scheduled to face Swedish player Viktor Tingström in the first round at AFAS Live. This opportunity follows a recent loss for Van Duijvenbode at the Czech Darts Open, where he was defeated 6-2 by Mario Vandenbogaerde.

The tournament, held from September 17 to 20, features a high-profile field including defending champion Michael van Gerwen and world number one Luke Littler.
