Disability Pride and History Months Marked in US and UK

In the United States, Disability Pride Month is observed each July to honor the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and to promote accessibility and inclusion. The month features parades, festivals and educational events, and highlights the Disability Pride Flag created by artist Ann Magill in 2019, which uses five colored stripes to represent physical, neurodiversity, invisible, sensory and mental‑health disabilities.
