DiscoBus night shuttle resumes in Veneto, adding three new towns

Free night‑time shuttle service DiscoBus restarts on Saturday 18 July, offering safe transport to and from nightlife venues for young people and night‑shift workers in the Venice metropolitan area. The service will run on weekend nights throughout July and August 2026.

The 2026 edition expands the route network, adding stops in Fossalta di Piave, Noventa di Piave and Meolo to the original municipalities of San Donà di Piave, Musile di Piave and Jesolo. Coordination is provided by the City Metropolitan of Venice’s Road Safety Table, the Prefecture of Venice, Confcommercio, SILB and the regional transport operator ATVO. The initiative is backed by Metropolitan Mayor Simone Venturini and Vice‑Mayor Silvia Susanna, who highlight fatigue‑related crash risks and stress that each fewer car on the road improves safety.

The shuttle operates on Friday and Saturday nights, with early‑morning departures (e.g., 02:00 and 04:00 from Jesolo) and a schedule covering 18, 25 July and 19, 26 July, continuing on selected dates in August.
