Discover Airlines and Costa Crociere launch Frankfurt-Genoa direct flights

Discover Airlines and Costa Crociere have announced a new direct flight connection between Frankfurt and Genoa, scheduled to begin on March 28. The route will operate twice weekly on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer season.

This partnership aims to enhance the ‘Fly & Cruise’ offering, providing easier access for travelers to Costa Crociere ships. Passengers can connect to the Costa Toscana departing from Savona or the Costa Fascinosa departing from Genoa. The service will utilize Airbus A320 aircraft with 180 seats.

Mario Zanetti, CEO of Costa Crociere, stated that connecting to Frankfurt, a major European hub, is a strategic step for the growth of the Liguria region and the cruise market. The initiative is intended to increase international tourism flows to Genoa and strengthen the airport's competitiveness as a gateway for international travelers.
