Discovery Channel Announces Shark Week 2026 Lineup Starting July 26

Discovery Channel revealed the schedule for Shark Week 2026, which will run from Sunday, July 26 through Saturday, August 1. The week features 20 new specials, ranging from classic returns such as "Air Jaws" to new ventures like "K‑Pop Shark Heroes," where Ken Jeong teams with Grammy‑nominated singer REI AMI to promote shark awareness across East Asia.

Other highlights include "Expedition Unknown: Shark Secrets," a deep‑dive into the first recorded shark attack, and "Ultimate Shark Dive," following cliff diver Molly Carlson as she attempts a record‑setting plunge into shark‑infested waters. Additional programs explore mega predators, bull shark behavior, competing great‑white houses, and the largest mako shark ever filmed. Discovery’s Head of Content Joseph Boyle said the lineup raises the bar with “glowing sharks, Jurassic giants, record‑setting stunts … and even K‑Pop.”
