Discovery Channel has announced its ‘Space Week 2026’ programming, scheduled from October 4 to 10. The week is dedicated to space exploration, science, and cosmic mysteries.

A central feature of the programming is the documentary ‘Artemis II: Journey to the Moon’, premiering October 4. The film chronicles the historic NASA mission that sent four astronauts—Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen—on a ten-day lunar orbit mission. This mission served as a critical test of technologies and procedures for future lunar landings.

Other scheduled programs include ‘The History of the Universe’, ‘The Secrets of the Universe with Morgan Freeman’, and ‘Moon Landing Mysteries’, which revisits the history and debates surrounding the first human arrival on the Moon.
