Discovery Mining announces leadership and board changes

Discovery Mining Ltd. has announced a series of leadership changes and board appointments aimed at supporting the growth of its precious metals assets in Canada and Mexico.

William “Bill” Shaver has joined the Company’s Board of Directors. Shaver brings over 60 years of experience in mining management, construction, operations, and mine design. He is the co-founder of Dynatec Corporation and previously served as the Chief Operating Officer of McEwan Mining Inc.

Additionally, Ewan Downie has been appointed as Advisor to the President, CEO, and Chairman. Downie is a mining executive and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience, having previously founded i-80 Gold Corp., Premier Gold Mines Inc., and Wolfden Resources Inc. The company also promoted seven senior leaders across various departments, including operations, exploration, finance, and business development.
