Discovery Mining Expands $400M Credit Facility and Launches $35M LP Offering
Discovery Mining Ltd. announced that its senior secured revolving credit facility has been increased to $400 million, up from $250 million, and its maturity extended to July 30 2026 (now 2030). The facility’s pricing ties to the Secured Overnight Financing Rate plus a spread, and covenant terms have been relaxed to give the company greater financial flexibility as it aims to more than double gold production at its Porcupine assets and develop the recently acquired Kidd operations, including the Kidd Creek Mine.
Separately, Discovery 2026 Short Duration LP filed a final prospectus for an initial public offering of Class A and Class F units, targeting up to $35 million in capital. The offering, managed by Middlefield and co‑led by RBC Capital Markets and CIBC Capital Markets, will close on August 12 2026 and will invest in a diversified portfolio of Canadian resource‑sector equities.
