Disgusting Sisters release new single ‘Not Cool’ ahead of debut album

The musical duo Disgusting Sisters has released a new single titled ‘Not Cool’, which serves as a precursor to their debut album, Skin & Blisters. Scheduled for release on October 30 via Source Records, the album will feature ten tracks.

The single ‘Not Cool’ is described as a blend of electro, emo, and indie rock, featuring lyrics inspired by an ex-boyfriend. The duo utilizes a mix of deadpan absurdity and humor to address themes such as workplace monotony, productivity culture, and personal experiences.

Much of the debut album was written and recorded with producer and live bassist James McManus, with additional recording work by Oli Bayston to provide a heavier indie edge. The group has previously received support from BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6Music, and has performed alongside Two Door Cinema Club.
