Disney+ acquires rights to Aurélien Tchouaméni’s talk show ‘The Bridge’

Disney+ has acquired the broadcasting rights for ‘The Bridge’, a talk show hosted by Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni and Sandy Héribert. The deal was finalized between the streaming platform and Excellence Sport Nation (ESN), the agency that manages Tchouaméni’s interests and produces the program.

Under the agreement, the next seven episodes of the show will be available exclusively on Disney+ for one week before being released for free on YouTube. The first episode of the new season, featuring guests Tiakola, Salahdine Parnasse, and Nordine Ganso, is already available on the platform.

Launched in 2024, ‘The Bridge’ features high-profile guests from the worlds of sports and entertainment, including Kylian Mbappé, Paul Pogba, Thierry Henry, and Aya Nakamura. This acquisition is part of a broader strategy by Disney+ to expand its sports content catalog, following similar moves such as acquiring La Liga broadcasting rights in France and ‘The Overlap’ podcast in the United Kingdom.
