Disney adds Willa the Wildcat to SuperKitties with new holiday specials

Disney Jr. announced that its hit series SuperKitties is expanding with a new team member, Willa the Wildcat. The full‑length special "The New SuperKitty" premiered on Disney Jr. on August 6 and began streaming on Disney+ on August 7, showing Willa joining Ginny, Sparks, Buddy and Bitsy.

Two additional holiday‑themed specials are slated for later this fall: "Howl‑O‑Ween Charm," in which the SuperKitties must retrieve a stolen magical charm, and "Friendsgiving Feast," where they protect a Friendsgiving celebration from the Glamsters. Guest stars include Jenifer Lewis and Henry Winkler. A new music video, "Ready to Su‑Purr Roar," was also released, with an extended version available on digital platforms from August 7.
