Disney+ adds X-Men ’97 season, King of the Hill reboot and new series in July

Disney+ announced its July lineup, featuring the second season of the animated series X-Men ’97, which premieres on July 1 with a three‑episode launch. The streaming service will also debut the fifteenth season of the classic sitcom King of the Hill on July 20, a new Descendants film titled Wicked Wonderland on July 17, and two National Geographic documentaries: Sharks Up Close with Bertie Gregory (July 5) and Tom Hiddleston’s historical series Pompeii: Out of Time (July 23). Additional July additions include new children’s programming, true‑crime documentaries, and other seasonal content.

Earlier in the month, Disney+ added the animated spin‑off Adventure Time: Side Quests (June 29), the teen musical drama Soy Luna (June 29) and a fresh season of the fashion competition Project Runway (June 30), expanding the platform’s mix of animation, drama and reality‑TV offerings.
