Disney and NFL launch character-themed apparel collection

Disney, the NFL, Champion, and Fanatics have launched the Disney x Champion NFL Collection, a first-of-its-kind apparel line that pairs all 32 NFL teams with characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars. The collection, which includes T-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts, was officially released on August 24, 2026.

Character pairings were determined based on team names, colors, history, and fan culture. Notable examples include the Las Vegas Raiders with Darth Vader, the Green Bay Packers with Chewbacca, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with Captain Hook, and the Atlanta Falcons with the Millennium Falcon. Other pairings include the Tennessee Titans with Thanos and the Philadelphia Eagles with Doctor Doom.

While the collection offers a wide variety of products through the NFL Shop, Fanatics, and the Disney Store, some fans have expressed dissatisfaction on social media. Critics have voiced disappointment regarding specific character selections for certain teams and concerns over limited sizing options.
