Disney and Hallmark expand long-standing holiday partnership

Disney and Hallmark are expanding their nearly century-old partnership with a new holiday collection. The collaboration is inspired by the Hallmark Channel original movie, ‘Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True’, which was filmed at Walt Disney World.

The long-standing relationship between the two companies dates back to 1931, when Hallmark secured a license to use Disney characters on greeting cards. Over the decades, the partnership has grown to include Hallmark stores at Disneyland and Disney World, as well as the introduction of Disney characters on Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments in 1977.

In addition to the brand expansion, new holiday merchandise has arrived at Disney parks. At Disney's Animal Kingdom, new Winnie the Pooh Disney Shimmer Wishables in festive outfits are now available in blind boxes at Discovery Trading Co. Other seasonal items appearing across Disney World include Hallmark holiday pop-ups in Disney Springs and various Christmas-themed figurines and jewelry.
