Disney+ and Hulu unveil August 2026 streaming lineup

Disney+ and Hulu announced their August 2026 streaming schedule. Hulu will debut the new series “The Shards” on 5 August 2026 and the 14th season of “Futurama” on 3 August 2026, while the documentary “Lion”, produced by BBC Studios, will become available in full on 20 August 2026.

Both services will also offer a mix of existing movies and specials, including “Big Dreams: Little League World Series 2024”, “The Book of Manning”, the classic films “Cheaper by the Dozen” (2003 & 2005), “Despicable Me 2”, the “Jurassic Park” trilogy, the “Men in Black” trilogy, “Sonic the Hedgehog”, the documentary “Time and Water”, and live‑stream coverage of Lollapalooza events.
