Disney announces major collaborations for parade centennial and brand anniversaries

Disney has announced several major brand collaborations and commemorative projects. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2026, Disney and Macy's will debut a giant Sorcerer Mickey balloon inspired by 'Fantasia'. This milestone is accompanied by an exclusive merchandise capsule featuring brands such as Citizen, Crocs, Hallmark, Loungefly, Super Smalls, and Swarovski. A broader collection of over 100 products inspired by Disney, Pixar, and Marvel is expected later this fall.

In other news, Disney and Pixar's 'Cars' is celebrating its 20th anniversary through a partnership with Formula 1. The collaboration includes a special appearance by Lightning McQueen at the 2026 Formula 1 Gran Premio d'Italia in Monza. Additionally, Béis Travel has launched a Disney-inspired capsule collection featuring 28 pieces of luggage and accessories themed around Mickey Mouse and Friends. At Disneyland, a new interactive Ewok has arrived at the Droid Depot as part of the Batuu Adventure Buddies collection.
