Disney and Pixar announce upcoming sequels and live-action films

Disney and Pixar have announced several major upcoming film projects, including sequels to highly successful animated franchises.

Frozen 3 is scheduled for a theatrical release on November 24, 2027. The film, directed by Jennifer Lee and Trent Correy, is reportedly being developed as the first part of a two-part narrative that will conclude with Frozen 4.

Other upcoming Pixar sequels include The Incredibles 3, set for release on June 16, 2028, with Peter Sohn taking over directing duties from Brad Bird. Coco 2 is expected in theaters in November 2029, featuring a teenage Miguel and the return of Benjamin Bratt as Ernesto de la Cruz. Additionally, Ice Age: Boiling Point is slated for a February release.

Disney is also developing a live-action adaptation of Tangled, starring Teagan Croft, Milo Manheim, and Katheryn Hahn, which is scheduled to arrive in theaters on March 31, 2028.
