Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out series to air on Nippon TV

Nippon TV’s “Friday Roadshow” will broadcast Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out” and its sequel, “Inside Out 2,” in two consecutive weeks starting October 9, 2026. The broadcasts will feature the full, uncut versions of both films.

The first film, which won the 88th Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, is scheduled for October 9. The sequel, “Inside Out 2,” which became a major global box office success in 2024, will make its terrestrial television debut on October 16. The sequel follows the protagonist, Riley, as she enters adolescence and encounters new emotions such as Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment.

The Japanese dubbed versions feature a notable cast, including Ami Koshimizu as Joy in the sequel, alongside Mikako Tabe, Kana Hanazawa, Maaya Sakamoto, and Murakami from Magical Lovely.
