Disney announces Japanese voice cast for Lilo & Scratch short film

Walt Disney Japan has announced the Japanese voice cast for the upcoming animated short film ‘Lilo & Scratch’, which is scheduled for release on December 4, 2026. The short will be screened alongside the feature film ‘Billy and the Magic Beginning’.

Returning to their roles from the 2025 live-action ‘Lilo & Stitch’ adaptation, Yuno Nagao will voice Lilo, Koichi Yamadera will voice Stitch, and Shinobu Hasegawa (Sissonne) will voice Dr. Jumba. This marks the first new theatrical animated production featuring Stitch in 23 years.

The plot follows Stitch as he is tasked with looking after Lilo’s new, mischievous, and mysterious pet cat, Scratch, while Lilo is away. In a reversal of their usual dynamic, Stitch finds himself being overwhelmed by the chaotic Scratch.
