Disney announces Kiff: The Oddest Sea animated special

Disney Channel has released the first teaser for “Kiff: The Oddest Sea,” a new animated special that parodies Homer’s “The Odyssey.” The story follows the main characters, Kiff and Barry, as they travel through a recreation of Greek mythology, encountering various monsters and chaotic situations typical of the series.

The special will feature a new original song by Brad Breeck. While an exact release date has not been specified, it is expected to premiere on Disney Channel and Disney+ in the United States this fall.

Following this special, a Halloween-themed episode is planned for October, and the third season of the series is scheduled to debut in the first quarter of 2027. The original series has seen significant success, accumulating nearly 11 billion minutes viewed and receiving nominations for the Children’s and Family Emmy Awards.
