Disney announces nationwide pop-up tours and retail events in Japan

Disney is launching several retail events across Japan in late 2026. The “Disney store. jp Japan Tour” is a nationwide pop-up tour scheduled to begin on October 16, 2026, in Kanagawa. The tour will visit nine cities, including Okinawa, Aichi, and Yamaguchi, featuring decorations inspired by the Disney Store Japan online shopping experience. The tour will offer location-specific merchandise, such as items featuring the names of the host cities, and interactive activities like smartphone-based stamp rallies.

Additionally, a “Disney store POP UP” will open at Haneda Airport on October 1, 2026, for approximately six months.

In a separate event, JR Kyoto Isetan will host “Disney THE MARKET 2026” from September 16 to October 5, 2026. This event will feature over 3,000 items from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars, including new products themed around “stars,” fashion items, and interior goods. The venue will include photo spots and Disney-themed music to create an immersive atmosphere.
