Disney announces new attraction opening and parade return
Disney has announced several updates across its theme park properties. At Walt Disney World Resort, The Magic of Disney Animation has officially opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Located in the Animation Courtyard, the new attraction features interactive experiences such as Olaf Draws, a character meet-and-greet called Off the Page!, an immersive playground titled Drawn to Wonderland, and the Disney Once Upon a Studio Theater.
At Disneyland, the Magic Happens parade is slated to return in 2027. Parade floats were recently seen traveling through the streets of Anaheim as they were moved back to the resort.
Separately, a fire alert was reported at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort on the morning of September 20, 2026. While specific details regarding the location and severity of the fire remain limited, the incident was reported by emergency activity trackers.
