Disney announces new collectible launches and event details

The Walt Disney Company is introducing several new collectible opportunities for fans. D23 members are invited to a ticketed launch event for “Disney Shorts” in Beverly Hills on November 20, 2026. This new collection, created by Mintbrain, reimagines Mickey Mouse’s silhouette as a template for various characters. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Mintbrain founder Carlos Klarmann and artist HERRERABOX.

Additionally, Disneyland Resort has announced a virtual queue system for a Kingdom Hearts pin release at the Downtown Disney District on November 3, 2026. To participate, guests must join the queue via the Disneyland app starting at 5:00 a.m. PT and must be within 60 miles of the district. The system uses boarding groups to manage access to Disney’s Pin Traders, and participation is limited to one request per My Disney account.
