Disney announces new merchandise collections and park updates

Disney is launching several new merchandise collections and park updates. A new Disneyland-themed apparel and home goods collection features designs inspired by iconic lands such as Fantasyland, Adventureland, and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

In preparation for the Halloween season, various retailers are releasing Disney-themed products. Aldi will debut a Halloween collection on August 26, 2026, featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Winnie the Pooh. Sam’s Club is also offering seasonal items including plush toys, pajamas, and a Disney Halloween Village set. Additionally, the Disney Store is releasing a Mickey Mouse Haunted House Starbucks tumbler on August 21.

Fashion releases include a new Disney Princess Dooney & Bourke tote arriving August 20, and a series of seven limited-edition Disney Princess Spirit Jerseys released daily between August 16 and August 22, 2026.

Regarding park attractions, Disney has announced plans to restore the Yeti animatronic at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which has been largely motionless for nearly 20 years.
