Disney announces new merchandise, D23 livestreams, and Halloween event updates

Disney is rolling out several new consumer offerings and updates across its various platforms. For the upcoming D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, Disney+ and Hulu will provide global livestreams of select panels, including the Disney Legends Awards Ceremony and various franchise celebrations.

In theme park and cruise news, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World has seen increased demand, with 11 event dates now sold out for the 2026 season. Additionally, the Disney Cruise Line has introduced new Star Wars-themed collectibles, including a BDX-Droid popcorn bucket and a Grogu premium sipper.

Retail updates include the release of new Dooney & Bourke Halloween-themed bags available via the Disney Store. However, guests visiting Disney Springs should note that certain third-party retailers, such as Zara and Vera Bradley, are reportedly no longer accepting Disney Gift Cards due to changes in merchant agreements.
